i like writing...i am currently writing a nifty little story. i just started and its only a paragraph long but i feel that it has the potential to get published someday. i would like writing a lot more if my stupid english teacher would have taught us actual english like verbs and stuff instead of teaching us how to read. ooh i got so sick of him...

I think making quotes should be an art...
Quotes, can be meaningful, and make people realize things in a simple and short sentence, rather than a whole speech...

Eh quotes and philosophy really aren't all that similar unless you have only cursory knowledge of philosophy, then it may appear that way. Quotes are nifty in their own way, but philosophy is deep and highly argumentative.

I can agree and disagree with this, while philosophy isn't the reason for quotes it can quite easily be the basis. Philosophy is the reason for most of the worlds most famous quotes such as "cogito ergo sum"(I think therefore I am) or the much less famous "esse est percipi"(essence is percieved). Philosophy gives us a basis in percieving the world and without perception of what is around us how can we have wisdom. And a quote without wisdom is just a meaningless saying(or a humorous one).
