Journalsim - what do you think about it? I can tell you made this with someone in mind I really like it, it can be such a open field too. One journalist can have a COMPLETLY different job from the other. One might work for a teen magazine writing about the best way to lose weight or something along those lines. The other could be taking flights to far off countries like Iraq and writing about what is happening there. Still others can write about videogames or even sports. There can be lots of traveling involved or you could never have to leave your house! You could be getting paid peanuts or making 40+ thousand a year. Whats great is it allows you to give facts, but also let in your opnion too. Im not talking about making a onesided argument unless thats what you wanted to do in the first place.

Journalism is a diverse field. I really enjoyed the book Nine Parts of Desire written by journalist Geraldine Brooks. If you want to know about the daily life of Islamic women, read that book!
If you're interested in journalistic writing you should contact your local paper, see if they have any amateur writing openings.

I like that book a lot too, its very one sided...but even if some of the things they talk about is only true in small ways, the fact its true at all makes it quite a good book.
Id like to travel a bit like her, but ill probably never do it, would put too much of a strain on my relationship. pick something closer to home i guess

Why couldn't you just take her with you?
