I have always liked landscape art the best. i like it when it is rich full color and attracts your eyes before you even know what you are really looking at. Especially when it shows something that doesnt actually exhist...not like a world in space with aliens but lets say a erupting volcano and in the background there is 3 moons. Simple things like that, or maybe just changing the color of things to colors that are not usually seen...like a purple lake or a orange forest...something different and unusual is what i enjoy...perhaps cause its a reflection of myself!!!lol Anyways how about u tell me what your favorite type of art is? Im curious.....

[glow=red,2,300]Do not say you are not creative...
You just do not know what you are creative at...
Everyone is creative, in their own way....
Personally, I am awful at drawing..[/glow]

I can draw faces well. But that's about it for drawing. For some reason I can't get below the shoulders or the picture doesn't turn out.

i am capable of drawing reasonably good pictures but the only problem is i can only draw them when im in the mood which is not very often. sometime ill have to post some of my pictures...i drew a dragon and a troll in a trenchcoat recently and i have a large unfinished picture of what i would want for a tatoo if i ever get one. i really like it but i went over it with a pen and now it doesnt look as good.

yeah, if i draw a picture then try to make it look better by adding color or something, it turns out really really bad.

Bringing the subject back around to painting, I broke out my paints the other day. My orange was all dried up and crusty but I felt the need to paint so I did, on paper, and also on the bottom of my foot and the back of my leg. No idea how it got there. Finger painting is awesome and one of my few memories from kidergarten (we painted an American flag). My favorite artists would have to be Amy Brown, she does mostly fairys, or any other fantasy artist and Leonardo Da Vinci because he was a painter among many other things.

I cant paint at all, but my sister is just wonderfull at it ( but she cant draw at all ) I am desent at drawing, when the mood strickes me. I love Amy Brown. If you like her you will probly like this also: www.enchanted-art.com/ , she is a painter of myth, magic and enchantment. Jessica Galbreth. It looks more flat then Amy Brown but i still like it. I love Mythical art. I drew a unicorn a long time ago that looked ok, but i drew a dragon baby that i love and a fue faries. But i cant draw anything unless i have atlest a base image to look at.

Im not really into unicorns but I like the idea of a single warrior standing in the face of some seemingly insermountable evil and taking it head on. Does he pull through?! Well with mythical artwork and ideals, its possible! Especially with him wielding that 10foot long glowing sword made out of ice...sorry, remembered a old picture I saw somewhere

Anyway - back to paint again - I really am a huge fan of impressionist paintings. My favorite artist is Claude Monet, but I also like many artists who aren't necessarily impressionists like J. M. W. Turner, Paul Cezanne, Georges Seurat, Vincent Van Gogh, and El Greco. From that list you can really tell I have a style I prefer!
